Light in dialogue with daylight.
Designed by Sebastian Herkner for Midgard, LOJA explores the relationship between light, form and atmosphere. Its white paper shade gives changing light a particular presence, allowing the colour temperature to sit naturally alongside daylight throughout the day.
During the day, cooler light can complement natural daylight. As daylight fades, warmer tones gradually change the atmosphere of the room.
From sunrise to sunset.
LOJA provides Tunable White from 1800 K to 4000 K. No smart home system is required: brightness can be dimmed continuously and colour temperature selected in predefined steps directly at the luminaire using the integrated soft-touch dimmer switch.
Connected through Matter, brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted seamlessly across the full range using a compatible smart home app.
A simple gesture changes the light.
The curved paper shade can be repositioned by hand, changing the balance between direct and indirect light. A simple movement alters both the direction of the light and the presence of the luminaire in the room.
Connected, when you want it.
Matter connectivity allows LOJA to become part of a compatible smart home environment whenever desired. Integration is optional: LOJA remains fully functional and intuitive when used independently.
Once connected, LOJA can be controlled alongside other Matter-compatible devices through platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
Paper. Glass. Steel.
LOJA combines a water-repellent paper shade, a hand-blown glass body and nickel-plated steel components. Three distinct materials give the luminaire its sculptural presence while remaining separable for maintenance, repair and recycling.
Replace the LED. Keep the luminaire.
LOJA uses the replaceable Midgard LED Unit 3.0 PRO. A tool-free bayonet lock allows the LED unit to be exchanged within seconds, while the transformer is also replaceable. Electronic components can therefore be maintained or replaced independently from the luminaire.

Yes. LOJA can be operated directly at the luminaire using the integrated soft-touch dimmer switch. Brightness is continuously dimmable and Tunable White colour temperatures can be selected manually in predefined steps without an app or smart home connection.

Dust the paper shade with a dry duster, soft cloth or microfibre cloth. For marks, remove dust first and then wipe the water-repellent paper gently with a slightly damp, soft sponge.
