The exhibition looks at the history and aesthetic evolution of adjustable lamps from the early twentieth century to today. On view are some rare Originals from Midgard Licht and other manufacturers, as well as numerous drawings, patents, correspondence, and short films that tell the story of adjustablelighting, illuminating parallels as well as the most recent innovations. 

The exhibition is concluded with work form Students of Prof Stefan Diez at the Angewandte  in Vienna (Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien). The students are testing their technical and
poetic visions for adjustable lighting of the future.
