Paper lampshade: Dust the paper lampshade using a DRY duster, soft cloth or a microfiber cloth. For soiling or stains, make sure you dust off the lamp FIRST, and then use a slightly moist soft sponge and wipe the shade gently (the lampshade is made from special water repellent paper).

Glass body: Dust the glass body using a dry duster, soft cloth, or a microfiber cloth. For soiling or stains, make sure you take off the lampshade first, and then simply use a slightly moist soft sponge with a little soap if you like and clean the body gently. Then dry with a soft towel.

If you would like to clean the inside of the glass body, unplug the lamp first, remove the glass body from the fixture plate with a turning movement (bayonet mount), lay it safely on the side, and gently swipe from the inside.

Simply use a duster, soft cloth, or microfiber cloth to swipe off the pendant lamps in everyday use.
For a thorough cleaning, please note the use of various materials and finishes for the lampshades and keep the felt ring inside of the lampshades.

Alu, Brass, and Copper: The aluminium, copper, and brass lampshades are of solid material without any further treatment. This allows for a natural ageing process. If you would like to remove the traces of oxidation, we recommend using a simple cleaning solution by mixing a few tablespoons of vinegar with water. Rub the lampshade with a soft sponge and the mixed solution. Then clean it off with a damp cloth and repolish with a dry cloth.

Enamelled or powder-coated: powder-coated or enamelled lampshades can be cleaned using a slightly moist soft sponge with a little soap if you like, and the body can be cleaned gently. Then dry with a soft towel.

Clean the Bakelite Dome and rotary switch with a soft and slightly moist cloth.
