With an outreach of up to 220 cm, AYNO XL floor brings precise directional light across large seating areas and dining tables while the base remains outside the space. Its generous arc makes an architectural statement without sacrificing the lightness of the original AYNO construction.

DIRECT THE LIGHT
One movement changes the geometry.
AYNO replaces conventional articulated joints with a continuously tensioned fibreglass rod. Sliding the two adjustment rings changes the curve of the arc and therefore the position of the light. The rod stores the tension that forms AYNO's characteristic silhouette, while the swivelling lampshade provides the final fine adjustment.
Designed to be maintained.
SUSTAINABILITYReplaceable components
AYNO is designed so that key components can be maintained and replaced independently. The Midgard LED Unit 2.0 is exchangeable without tools, the transformer can be replaced, and original spare parts are available directly from Midgard.
This modular approach extends the usable life of the luminaire while allowing individual technical components to be serviced without replacing the complete lamp.

AYNO uses the replaceable Midgard LED Unit 2.0 with excellent Ra95+ colour rendering. The LED unit is available in fixed colour temperatures of 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, allowing the light to be selected according to the setting and application.

Designed by Stefan Diez for Midgard, AYNO explores how a highly adjustable luminaire can be reduced to a small number of functional components. The development of AYNO also became the starting point for the Circular Design Guidelines developed by Diez Office, linking the product's construction to a broader approach to repairability and circular design.

AYNO XL floor is designed for larger seating areas, generous reading zones and dining tables. Its long adjustable arc allows the light to reach far into the room while the base remains outside the area being illuminated.
AYNO L floor offers an outreach of up to 120 cm and is suited to compact seating, working and dining settings. AYNO XL floor extends up to 220 cm and is intended for larger arrangements where the light needs to travel considerably further from the base.
Yes. AYNO XL floor is suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from approximately 2.5 metres. Its flexible arc can be adjusted in height and reach to suit the space.

Yes. AYNO uses the tool-free replaceable Midgard LED Unit 2.0 with a bayonet lock. Replacement LED units are available directly from Midgard.
