Midgard Heritage Collection
Designed then. Relevant now.
In 1919, Curt Fischer developed and patented a new way of directing light. His adjustable luminaires replaced static illumination with light that could be moved precisely where it was needed. The principle established Midgard and later became part of the company's relationship with the Bauhaus.
The Heritage Collection brings together designs and construction principles from this history that remain relevant today. They are not reproductions conceived as historical objects, but functional luminaires made to be used, adjusted, maintained and kept.
